Putting
the Team Plan into action
In a team setting the Performance Plan
is usually implemented through the coaches, as well as group
training sessions with the team and one to one with individual
athletes. We use and teach a wide variety of performance enhancing
methods to build the ability of both athletes and coaches
to achieve their individual and team potential under pressure.
These may include any of the skills from
the individual
athlete performance plan. In addition we may provide
a greater focus on communications skills within the team environment.
Monitoring team
progress:
Monitoring the progress of the team and
individual athletes is key to making sure that all the goals
are being achieved and that there is an incremental increase
in the way in which the whole team and its individuals are
achieving their potential.
We review progress regularly with
the athletes and support team and adapt and change the plan
in consultation with the team management as new situations
arise.
